Great Gorge Village

This community is literally built on the side of a mountain. Many homes have ski access and most have wonderful views. From the slopes you can catch the lift and access the entirety of Mountain Creek Ski area.

With 1,500 homes you’d think this community could feel too large and sprawling. Good land planning and the extreme efforts to save trees has allowed this community to nestle into the hillside hiding many homes. The ski slopes and golf course the homes front create amble open space.

Minerals Sports Club and Minerals Golf Club are right in the heart of the community. Minerals Sports Club offers over 80 weekly fitness classes, personal training, indoor tennis and full court basketball, indoor running track and a fully equipped cardio and weight lifting gym. Also included are large indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, sauna and steam room. To top it all off, there is world-class Elements Spa with over a dozen treatment rooms.

Kites — An American Grille & Bar is located in Minerals Hotel, a great place to grab a drink or a bite with your neighbors . . . you can even hit the dance floor at night. The out-of-towner guests staying in the adjacent Minerals Hotel make for a great opportunity to meet new people and make new friends.

The building design is simple, but the condominiums cedar siding and wood decks coupled with the careful land planning allow them to nestle into the mountain forest quite nicely. Floor plans are simple and most homes are two or three bedroom. There are a few townhomes but mostly stacked flat condos. The majority of these homes were built from the late 1970’s into the mid 1990’s.

Being at the base of the mountain allows access to this public land where there are great hiking and mountain biking trails as well as 8 lakes for fishing and boating at the Mountaintop Adventure Center.

Great Gorge Village is truly a sportsman or woman’s paradise. We challenge you to find a better place to live with more to do in the tri-state area.
